Jóhan Martin Christiansen writes through textual fragments on how it feels to relate to an area where one does not belong. Rather than a deep connection with Gröndal, the time spent here during OPI Lab enabled a reflective frame of mind. This monthly contemplation has led to a situated examination of dissonance felt, revealing contrasts when that gaze is applied to Copenhagen and the Faroe Islands, Christiansen’s other places of work and life.

Jóhan Martin Christiansen performs a reading of the text Notes from under the bridge each evening of the Tiny Park Festival as a closure to the day’s events. The reading will be performed in Faroese and then in English.
