Gathering and working with field recordings from the site of Lövholmen has been an ongoing working methodology for Stefan Pedersen and Wesley Taylor throughout their OPI Lab year, both as an experimental collaborative exchange and as an attempt to metabolize and process the site itself.

On the final day that OPI Lab 2023/2024 gather, participants of this closed workshop use sound recording equipment to collect field recordings from in and around Lövholmen. On returning to the Tiny Park site with these sounds, Stefan and Wes will feed them into a live sonic composition or “sound sculpture”.

Please note: This closed workshop on collecting and recordings sounds is for participants of OPI Lab only. The public are very welcome to listen to the live mixing of the sound sculpture at the Tiny Park site.
