JASMINE

Jasmine Hinks is a curator, writer and lecturer at the department for research and advanced studies at Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm. She leads Of Public Interest (OPI) Lab together with its founder, the artist Jonas Dahlberg.

Her practice is oriented towards questions of agency and ownership in the spaces where public(s) encounter art. Through investigation into curatorial and critical spatial practices, she is interested in rendering power structures visible within spaces of artistic production and translation. Often this entails working with textual and spatial framing.

Alongside her role at OPI Lab, Hinks is Curator of Editorial at Index – The Swedish Contemporary Art Foundation. Born in the UK, she lives in Sweden and works primarily in Stockholm.
